chapter 6 : the twilight

well this starts my 30th year of farming Ty is 20 and he takes command of all the chores now i still help out a little he helps his mom out with the house work and he goes around town helping people out i' v aged my hair is gray and i have wrinkles but Celia still thinks I'm handsome besides that no ones died every body has aged a lot here but this Vally never changes

well 10 more days until the end of the year Ty is an awesome animal trainer he trained smoky how to do a wheelie on his horse and taught flash how to walk on his hind legs besides that this year has been the best so far

well today is the last day of winter nothing much happened today but Ty and me went by the river and had a talk he said his whole life here hes been thinking about what he wants to do and he said i don't want to leave this Vally that i grew up in and i don't want to leave the farm so he decided to stay here and become a farmer i was so happy that he said that and i realized some thing in my 30 years of farming no body or this Vally never changes the only thing that changes here are the seasons the days the color of the leafs and we age my son is grown up now hes brave strong and smart hes a lot like me when i first came here 30 years ago from the city and i knew nothing about farming every thing was new to me and me my family and this farm have still have a long road ahead of us and i realized this has been a wonderful life .
